Story
Bhimaa(played by Gopichand) is a fun-loving cop with his own unique way of dealing with criminals. He becomes a big problem for Bhavani (played by Mukesh Tiwari), the powerful man who rules the Mahendragiri district.
Bhimaa falls in love with school teacher Vidya (Malvika Sharma). Vidya has a lot of respect for Ravindra Varma (Nassar) who treats people with medicinal herbs. Ravindra Varma asks Bhimaa to give him his favour, which leads to a complete turning point in Bhimaa’s life.
However, the details of what Ravindra Varma actually asked Bhimaa, how Bhavani tried to distance herself from Bhimaa, and what happened next are not revealed.

Technical Aspects
The film has wonderful visuals and cinematography, especially the night shots by cinematographer Swami J.K. Production standards are good.
While the music is decent, Ravi Basarur’s background score is excellent. As a mass action film, Bhimaa delivers an important sequence of well-crafted action.
Director A. Harsh has added some fantasy elements to this classic drama. Collections and end products are beautifully presented. The main role of Gopichand is strongly performed.
But one major flaw is that the way the romance film is written and acted is disappointing. This weakens the impact of the film to some extent. In addition, the back-and-forth can sometimes be confusing.
Review
Overall, Bhimaa is a good Telugu action drama film with some decent moments in the first and second half. Gopichand gives an extremely strong and dynamic performance as the lead actor. The beginning, interlude point and last 30 minutes of the film are perfectly choreographed.
However, the other parts could have been done better. The boring love song is a major downgrade to the quality of the film.
