Story
Bangarraju (Nagarjuna) travels to Swargam and lives a happy life. On a particular day however, his wife(Satyamma) is also gone and he joins Bangarraju in Swargam. Bangarraju is then informed the fact that her grandson(China Bangarraju) is now an Playboy and isn’t at all serious about his life. She then compel Bangarraju to return to his roots to set the right course. If that’s not sufficient, China Bangarraju also struggles with the main villains of the village. The story is about how Bangarraju gets his revenge and makes things right.
Technical Aspects
Anup Rubens is given a significant note for his music as it is the core for the movie. All of the songs were composed well and were captured with a vibrant color. Dialogues are fun to listen to and particularly the ones composed for Nag are great. Chay Akkineni was made with care. The camera department is able to do a good job since the film is brimming with vibrant village scenes.
When it comes to director Kalyan Krishna who does a great job in the sequel. However, the first one, Soggade is more entertaining than Bangarraju, for sure. While he is narrating the Bangarraju’s first half in a monotone way, the second half is quite enjoyable, with proper family drama, emotions and a an excellent finale.
Review
In the end, Bangarraju is a decent rural drama, with Nagarjuna as well as Chay Akkineni leading the action. Although the first half and the story appear to be a bit boring The second half of the film is full of good moments. Because of the festival atmosphere, as well as the movie is brimming by different stars and a variety of vibrant music, Bangarraju will fare well at the box office.
