Story
Kalaghati jail inmate Mighel (Mohan Bhagath) manages to mysteriously escape, leaving the warden and other officials completely confused. The police call in two detectives, Chaitanya (Ravindra Vijay) and Madhav (Abhishek Boddepally), for help.
Chaitanya and Madhav investigate Mighel’s disappearance and discover shocking and unexpected details about Mighel and how he managed to escape from prison without a trace
The big questions are: Who exactly is this Miguel? How did he get this mysterious missing act out of jail? Is someone else behind him helping him escape? Did the two officers finally find out where Miguel went missing?
The film will uncover the answers to all these questions surrounding Mighel’s incredible prison break and the mystery surrounding his disappearance after escaping from prison. You’ll have to watch it to get the full story.
Strength
Firstly, let’s give credit to director Ajay Nag V for his idea to tell a new story in Tollywood. The story he chose for his first time directing shows that he might have a bright future ahead if he keeps trying out different kinds of stories.
Mohan Bhagath once again proves he’s talented with a really good performance, and Ravindra Vijay does a good job playing a detective, while Surabhi Prabhavathi convincingly plays Mohan Bhagath’s mother. Laxman Meesala adds some fun with his funny timing.
The scenes where Mohan Bhagath talks with Professor Subramanya Rao and his mother are touching. And a few scenes in the first part of the movie make you curious about what’s going to happen next.
Weakness
While the story is correct, it may not relate to anyone because it focuses on the phenomenon of Dejavu. The aspects of dejavu can be made more interesting to attract people’s attention and increase their curiosity.
The bond between mother and child could have been shown to be deep and strong. More exploration of Dejavu and development of the characters, especially the character of Suprirtha Satyanarayana, would have made the film easier and more interesting
Sometimes the movie drags a lot during the flashbacks, making it boring at times. Also, there aren’t many exciting moments in the investigation, which takes away from the film’s overall appeal.
Review
Nevertheless, the “Aarambham” doesn’t hook you viewers. While Mohan Bhagath, Ravindra Vijay and Bhushan Kalyan give good performances, the film’s lengthy plots and lack of interest on both sides make this film less enjoyable and you might as well find other weekend entertainment choose.
