Story
Nayakudu, played by Vadivelu, is a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). He represents the oppressed Dalit community. Rathnavelu, played by Fahadh Faasil, is the district secretary of the same political party. However, Rathnavelu belongs to a superior community. Salem Sundaram, played by Azhagam Perumal, is Rathnavelu’s father.
In the story, Athiveeran, also called Veera, is the distant son of Maamannan (Nayakudu). Veera lives in Adimurai and works as a martial arts trainer. When he was a child, he was attacked by people from a powerful local community because of his caste. This incident deeply upset him, and he left home.
Rathnavelu, portrayed by Fahadh Faasil, has a rivalry mindset. He verbally attacks Maamannan for personal political reasons. The movie revolves around the exploitation of a community in Tamil Nadu. It focuses on situations that force a small community of people to have a strong leader.
