Review
Before the Main Atal Hoon movie’s released the actor Pankaj Tripathi spoke to ANI about how he prepared for his role. He played former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the film. Tripathi said he studied Vajpayee’s life history and working style.
Tripathi mentioned that attending two political rallies addressed by Vajpayee helped him understand Vajpayee’s personality and spirit better. Being present at those rallies allowed Tripathi to observe and absorb Vajpayee’s aura and way of speaking to the public.
By researching Vajpayee’s background deeply and experiencing his rallies, Tripathi could prepare himself well to portray the former PM’s character authentically in the movie. This level of preparation helped him do justice to the role.
Main Atal Hoon is an earnest and humble effort to showcase Atal’s journey and tell his story, but it’s Pankaj’s stellar act is outstanding but the storytelling remains average.
