Story
Hanumanthu is a thief who lives in the village of Anjanadhri. He has a caring elder sister named Anjamma. Hanumanthu falls in love with a village girl named Meenakshi. The village is ruled by Gajapati, who pretends to protect the villagers from robbers but actually torments them. When Meenakshi rebels against Gajapati, he attacks her. Hanumanthu tries to save Meenakshi but got into trouble.
In this story, Hanuman finds a precious stone that gives him superpowers. How Hanu-Man uses this new power is the rest of the story.
There is also a character named Michael who wants to have superpowers like Hanuman, but you have to watch the movie to see how Michael fits the story.

Review
Overall, Hanu-Man is an entertaining superhero film with VFx elements. The last half hour, filled with high points and humor, is the film’s greatest strength. Other side the story, director Prasanta Varma manages to keep the audience’s attention for most of the film.
The style of portraying the character of Lord Hanuman treats the audience with powerful dialogues and melodious songs. Leading actors Teja Sajja, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Amrita Iyer, and others perform well.
The review praises interesting superhero elements, a thrilling second half, humor and the image and performance of Lord Hanuman. The downsides are a familiar plot, some dragging parts, and a rather weak first half hour.
